Production Updates

Yeah, it’s been a while… After being hacked numerous times, we now have a new site, and will be able to keep up with the updates on a more regular basis,
Since our last post, we have conducted interviews with The Red Elvises, Timothy Ryback, author of Rock Around the Bloc, and have made valuable contacts and research throughout the world. After putting together the first Chicago International Movies and Music Festival (CIMMfest) with great success, we are back on the road as we are finishing the East Block Rock script, and looking forward to start full-scale production by fall. We now have the support of a few European broadcasters, and are preparing to close some deals soon.

As we’re getting ready to hit the markets in Europe, we completed the first version of the trailer, and just finished two days of amazing filming with The Plastic People of the Universe in Chicago. We shot interview and concert footage, and made many new friends. Big thanks to everyone who helped!

Hi Everyone!
Here, we are going to post updates on the status of the project, video clips, photos, etc. as we go along, so check back often.
So far, we have shot two interviews in Chicago, and working on a promo trailer for the film.
We are currently working to raise funds to attend the MIPCOM Market in Cannes, and East iSilver documentary film market (Czech Republic) in October, and IDFA in Amsterdam in November. At these events we are hoping to secure the necessary production funds, and find interested co-production partners.
